Please review these Terms of Service carefully before accessing, contributing to, or publishing projects on ProjectHub.
Student & College IP
You retain 100% ownership of your engineering projects, designs, and firmware. You grant ProjectHub a non-exclusive license to showcase them.
Google Drive Storage
All user-uploaded files (schematics, code, PDFs, media) are stored on Google Drive infrastructure via official Google Drive APIs.
Hardware Safety First
IoT and electromechanical circuits carry physical hazards. Project documentation is for educational study only; assemble at your own risk.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and Pixel PropX Solutions (“Pixel PropX”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your access to and use of the ProjectHub website, services, APIs, and mobile-responsive applications.
By accessing ProjectHub, registering an account, submitting an engineering project, or uploading files, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
ProjectHub is engineered primarily for college students, engineering faculty, laboratory mentors, and educational institutions.
- Student Contributors: Students must register with valid institutional contact details and select their affiliated college. Student submissions undergo faculty coordinator review prior to public indexing.
- Faculty & College Administrators: Faculty accounts require official institutional email verification and super-administrative approval. Faculty administrators are authorized to approve, request revisions, or reject submissions strictly within their assigned college tenant.
- Account Confidentiality: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
3. Intellectual Property & Content License
Student & Institutional Ownership Guarantee
You retain 100% ownership and all intellectual property rights in the engineering projects, circuit schematics, CAD designs, code files, research text, and demonstration media that you submit to ProjectHub.
License to ProjectHub: By submitting or publishing a project on ProjectHub, you grant Pixel PropX Solutions and ProjectHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, cache, display, format, distribute, and index your approved public project for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the academic showcase.
This license does not transfer patent rights, proprietary software rights, or commercial manufacturing rights to Pixel PropX Solutions.
All files uploaded by users to ProjectHub are stored on Google Drive infrastructure.
- Cloud Storage Hosting: When you upload project assets—including wiring diagrams, firmware binaries, source code archives (.zip, .ino, .py, .cpp), circuit schematics (.png, .pdf), demonstration clips, and BOM spreadsheets—they are processed through the Google Drive API and saved in dedicated Google Drive storage directories.
- Compliance with Google Policies: By uploading files to ProjectHub, you agree that your content adheres to the Google Drive Terms of Service and Google Acceptable Use Policies.
- Prohibited File Uploads: You may NOT upload: (a) executable malware, viruses, trojans, or ransomware; (b) copyrighted media or firmware belonging to third parties without authorization; (c) explicit, pornographic, defamatory, or unlawful content; or (d) unredacted private passwords, production server credentials, or personal identification documents.
- File Removal: When you delete an uploaded file or unpublish/delete a project, ProjectHub triggers an API call to permanently delete the file from Google Drive.
5. Acceptable Use & Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Attempting to bypass college tenant isolation or view unapproved drafts belonging to another institution.
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or launching automated crawlers that overload our systems or Google Drive API quotas.
- Submitting deceptive, counterfeit, or fraudulent project claims to earn academic credit or badges.
- Interfering with security features, including tampering with JWT tokens or attempting privilege escalation.
- Harassing student authors, faculty mentors, or platform administrators in review comment threads.
6. Academic Integrity & Anti-Plagiarism
ProjectHub is committed to upholding rigorous academic standards. All submissions must represent the genuine work of the credited student contributors and faculty mentors.
If your project incorporates open-source firmware, libraries, or public circuit designs (such as Arduino, ESP-IDF, FreeRTOS, or open hardware licenses), you MUST provide appropriate attribution and citations in your methodology and code comments. Plagiarized submissions will be promptly rejected and reported to institutional coordinators.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR EXPERIMENTERS:
- • Engineering projects published on ProjectHub frequently involve high voltages (e.g., 230V AC mains relays), reactive inductive loads (motors, solenoids), chemical sensors, flammable gases, lithium polymer batteries, laser modules, and high-speed mechanical actuators.
- • All documentation, circuit schematics, pinout tables, and source code are provided strictly for educational and conceptual study. Neither ProjectHub nor Pixel PropX Solutions guarantees that any user-submitted circuit or code is free from design errors or hazards.
- • You test and assemble hardware at your own sole risk. Always use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), current-limited power supplies, flywheel diodes, fuses, and optocouplers, and adhere to laboratory safety protocols under faculty supervision.
8. Faculty Review & Moderation
ProjectHub implements a multi-step editorial workflow:
Status Lifecycle: DRAFT → SUBMITTED → CHANGES_REQUESTED (with reviewer feedback) → PUBLISHED (or REJECTED).
Faculty administrators and Super Administrators reserve the right to modify status, request revisions, decline publication, or remove any project that fails to meet academic rigor, violates safety standards, contains leaked credentials, or breaches these Terms.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Platform Provided “AS-IS”
PROJECTHUB AND ALL ASSOCIATED SERVICES, SOFTWARE, AND GOOGLE DRIVE INTEGRATIONS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PIXEL PROPX SOLUTIONS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL PIXEL PROPX SOLUTIONS, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, HARDWARE DAMAGE, SYSTEM BURNOUT, OR ACADEMIC PENALTIES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR RELIANCE ON ANY PUBLISHED PROJECT CONTENT.
10. Termination & Data Removal
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to ProjectHub at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users or the platform.
Upon account termination, your right to access the contributor workspace ceases immediately. Associated user-uploaded files stored in Google Drive will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Pixel PropX Solutions
ProjectHub is developed, operated, and maintained by Pixel PropX Solutions. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
